That vision took shape in the early 2000s when founder Bob Smith created the first DRICORE® prototype using hockey pucks. What started as a practical solution for basement moisture quickly became the foundation of AGT’s inventive spirit. From day one, we collaborated closely with contractors, builders, and DIYers to understand the real challenges they faced—cold concrete floors, moisture intrusion, and time-consuming installation methods.
